3 Graduation Gift Ideas To Empower Career

“Oh the places you will go…”  Graduation from high school and/or college are milestones both students and parents look forward to celebrating.  To channel this excitement and energy into what’s next, here are my top graduation gift ideas.

  1. Career Empowerment – Help the grad in your life uncover his/her own answers with the gift of a one-hour webinar.  Designed to empower, this career webinar for graduates and experienced workers alike will teach the three steps to finding work they love as well as how to maintain the proper mindset needed to make a great living throughout their careers.
  2. Soul Search Exercises – When it comes to making career choices, young people work best with exercises that give them something to react to.  Give the graduation gift of this Soul Search workbook which provides 30 pages of exercises covering all aspects of career from how he/she wants to make a difference to how he/she wants to be creative.  Using these insights, the graduate will be able to make better career decisions about the path to take after receiving his/her diploma.
  3. Individualized Career Coaching – It can be hard to coach your own son, daughter, niece, nephew or friend.  Give the graduation gift of career coaching.  The grad you know will benefit for the rest of his/her career from the opportunity to speak with a knowledgeable and objective third party who can guide their career thoughts and ideas into actionable steps.  Contact me for discounted rates during the month of May.

As graduates the world over toss their caps, by all means celebrate their worthwhile achievements.  When you’re thinking of graduation gifts, consider empowering them to manage their careers successfully from here on out.  It’s the gift that keeps on giving.  For more support for the graduates in your life….read my recent commencement address for high school seniors.

Glad you love Dr. Seuss Craig. I’ve grown to appreciate him even more as an adult. Love the way he shares wisdom in such a fun way. Reminds me of someone I know 🙂

Not your common graduation gifts but one of the best gift ideas I have heard. Help them find their meaning and their worth in the exciting world of opportunities.

What a great and inspirational post! I gave my siblings who graduated this year Dr. Seuss’s book. Instead of a webinar, I decided to help them by going with the third option. Dr. Seuss’s book is fun and so true about the different wrong turns that could happen along the way.
